“So, I have been having trouble seeing lately and went to my Eye Dr. who confirmed that my already horrible eyesight got worse. My Doc’s office sells glasses, but I really wanted to find a place that is open on weekends just in case I need an adjustment or my glasses break. So, I have passed by this place near my office quite a few times and decided to try it out.
The woman behind the counter (Anita) was great. She took into consideration that I have a wicked strong prescription and helped me pick out glasses that would minimize the look of the thick lenses. She also helped straighten out an insurance issue I have with VSP (my eyeglass insurance plan). After about 4 days, I got the call that the glasses were ready and now I can see clearly again and I am very happy.
Go check them out of you need a new pair. They have lots to choose from and Anita has a good eye for what looks good.”

“This place is great. I have the world’s most confusing insurance (VSP) which will only pay for either glasses or contacts. The people that work here took the time to price out the really complicated options and figure out which would be cheapest for me to pay out of pocket, and which to use my insurance for. When I told them that I had found contacts for cheap online, they still gave me a rebate form to try and use with them – really nice, since I wasn’t even buying them through them. They have pretty late appointments, and I showed up at 6PM for my 6:30PM appt and they took me right away – no waiting. I ordered glasses through them, and they were ready a few days later. Great service and everyone that works there is really nice!”

I came here after a disappointing 3-week saga with Cohen’s optical on 2nd and St. Marks (hated it) and Eyes on Broadway got my prescription sunglasses to me within 4 business days. “This is the only place that I’ll go to get glasses in the city! About a year ago, I figured it was time to grow up and throw out my Costco glasses and get a real pair.
